Damascus countryside, SANA, On the 33rd anniversary of the Israeli illegal decision on annexing OF the occupied Golan, the Syrian Social Nationalist Party (SSNP)held a solidarity stand in Jaramana, Damascus countryside, expressing rejection of the decision and voicing support to the resilience of the Golan\u2019s people.<\/p>\n
Chairman of the SSNP Qunietra branch Mahmoud Bakkar said ..the Israeli enemy continues its aggression against the people in the occupied Golan to undermine the will of the Syrians, yet their cultural and historical image can\u2019t be abolished through conspiracies, rockets and shells.<\/p>\n
Golan\u2019s Mayor, Issam al-Sha\u2019alan said \u201cThe decision of the Israeli Knesset on annexing the Syrian Golan is considered null and void by all the international and social organizations, affirming that Golan\u2019s people are adhered to their Syrian Arab identity.<\/p>\n
The steadfastness of Golan\u2019s people has forced the Zionist entity to bow to their demands as it hasn\u2019t been able to impose the Israeli nationality on them or to force the youths to join the Israeli army, and it has released the administrative detainees, in addition to allowing families to meet on the cease-fire line and opening al-Quneitra crossing, Al-Sha\u2019alan added.<\/p>\n
During the adoption of the Special Political and Decolonization Committee \u201cFourth Committee\u201d, the UN has reiterated its call on Israel to comply with the international legitimacy resolutions related to the occupied Syrian Golan, particularly the UN Security Council resolution no. 497 which considers Israel\u2019s decision on imposing its laws, jurisdiction and administration on the Golan as null and void and without international legal effect.<\/p>\n
