Tehran, SANA Speaker of the Iranian Shura\u00a0Council Ali Larijani called upon countries of the\u00a0region to exert efforts to find a political\u00a0solution to the crisis in Syria as terrorism\u00a0constitutes a ‘dilemma’ for all these countries.<\/p>\n
“The situation in Syria has improved as positive\u00a0steps have been adopted forwards, Larijani said\u00a0in a statement upon his arrival at Mehrabad\u00a0International Airport in Tehran on Saturday\u00a0following a tour including Syria, Lebanon and\u00a0Iraq.<\/p>\n
He pointed out that some mass media have\u00a0exaggerated the image of what is going on in\u00a0Syria, while there are some areas in which
\nterrorists are still causing problems there.<\/p>\n
Larijani described the rapprochement that has been\u00a0found among Syria, Iraq, Lebanon and Iran as “Very\u00a0appropriate” for these countries which play a key\u00a0role in the resistance axis in the region.<\/p>\n
The Iranian official stressed that he discussed\u00a0with officials of these countries means of\u00a0combating terrorism on the political and security
\nlevels, indicating to the perpetual consultation\u00a0and coordination among countries of the region in\u00a0the field of combating terrorism.<\/p>\n
Last Monday, Larijani expressed, during his visit\u00a0to Syria, his country’s support to the efforts\u00a0exerted to launch a national dialogue among the\u00a0Syrians which maintains Syria’s sovereignty and\u00a0unity, far from foreign interference.<\/p>\n
