Damascus, SANA- SANA reporters stated that the committees at the polling stations in the Syrian provinces opened the ballot boxes to the committees\u2019 members and the candidates’ agents to ensure that they are empty of any paper and re-closed them in preparation for the start of the citizens’ voting.<\/p>\n

It is noteworthy that 12 thousand and 102 electoral centers have been opened in all provinces to facilitate procedures for citizens, and each center contains the necessary equipment, such as electoral supplies, publications, electoral ink, and a device for detecting fraud of identity cards, bearing in mind that Syria is a single electoral constituency, therefore; any citizen has the right to vote at any polling station within his province or in the province in which he resides.<\/p>\n
