<\/a><\/p>\nSarah, during a meeting with a Russian media delegation from the Ministry of Communication and Digital Development and a number of Russian media outlets, pointed out to the importance of this cooperation to confront the media misinformation war that targets the two countries and seek to distort facts and overturn concepts.<\/p>\n
He also referred to the need for raising the level of cooperation in the media sector and intensifying the exchange of experiences, qualification and training.
\n\u201cAs we have succeeded militarily with our allies in Russia, we will succeed in the media too,\u201d Sarah added.<\/p>\n
For her part, Director of the Russian Department of International Cooperation and Mass Communication Development, Larina Ekaterina, affirmed the importance of sharing and exchanging information, adding that many global events are transmitted inaccurately, particularly through social media, therefore \u201cwe look forward to building a media partnership to enhance the exchange of information directly and convey the true image of Russian and international public opinion.\u201d
\nAt the end of the meeting, a memorandum of understanding was signed between the General Establishment for Radio and Television in Syria and the Russian Sputnik Agency, laying the appropriate ground for cooperation between the two sides.<\/p>\n
