Geneva ,SANA – Syria’s permanent representative to the United Nations Office and International Organizations in Geneva, Ambassador Houssam al-Din Ala , affirmed that the hostile method adopted by Commission of Inquiry on Syria\u00a0 and its abstention \u00a0from acknowledging \u00a0its right and duty in liberating its lands and protecting its people from actions of occupation and crimes of\u00a0 terrorist groups make its reports \u00a0\u00a0lack processional or objectivity.<\/p>\n
Ala expressed regret as \u201cmeetings and mechanisms of the Human Rights Council turned into a platform and a tool for defaming countries based on fabricated reports.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe determination of the Council\u2019s mechanisms to ignore the US, Turkish and Israeli attacks, as well as their logistical and military support for terrorist groups that practice killing and terror against Syrians is a questionable matter,\u201d Ala said in a statement about Item 4 of \u201cthe report of Commission of Inquiry on Syria.\u201d<\/p>\n
He added that the continuous looting of Syria’s oil and wheat and smuggling them via borders is done in collusion with the US occupation which \u00a0deprives the \u00a0Syrians from their national resources.<\/p>\n
Ambassador Ala affirmed that unilateral coercive economic measures imposed on Syria \u00a0were the reason behind the suffering of the citizens, adding they negatively affect their livelihood and efforts exerted to recover from the crisis.<\/p>\n
