Damascus, SANA-Syrian \u2013Russian Friendship Committee at the People\u2019s Assembly voiced its full support to the friendly Russian people in the Special Military operation in Donbas on light of the Russian rightful stance and its legitimate right to self-defense against the U.S. and Western policies.<\/p>\n
The committee said in a statement that Russia has full right to defend safe civilians in Donetsk in the face of\u00a0 the acts of Nazi nationalists in Ukraine amid the insistence of the Ukrainian government not to carry out its obligations to Minsk agreements, in addition to its attempt to join NATO and possess nuclear weapons that threaten the Russian national security.<\/p>\n
The committee concluded by saying \u201cWe stand by the two committees in State Duma and the Federal Assembly of Russia against the fierce misleading propaganda ,which seeks to seize the Russian media outlets and distort the image of fair Russian demands, along with inflaming sedition and tension and justifying\u00a0 the U.S. and the west greed in Ukraine as they did in many of world regions<\/p>\n
