{"id":268191,"date":"2022-03-31T12:47:22","date_gmt":"2022-03-31T09:47:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.sana.sy\/en\/?p=268191"},"modified":"2022-03-31T12:47:22","modified_gmt":"2022-03-31T09:47:22","slug":"president-diaz-canel-syrian-cuban-relations-strong-and-historic","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/archive.sana.sy\/en\/?p=268191","title":{"rendered":"President D\u00edaz-Canel: Syrian-Cuban relations strong and historic"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Havana, SANA- Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel stressed the strength and depth of the relations between Syria and Cuba, describing them as historic.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.sana.sy\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/2-83.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright wp-image-268193 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/www.sana.sy\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/2-83.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"190\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">That came during a meeting with the Syrian Ambassador to Cuba, Dr. Idris Mayya, on the occasion of the end of his duties in Cuba.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">President D\u00edaz-Canel condemned the siege and unilateral coercive measures imposed on Syria, stressing the importance of strengthening relations between the two countries and uplifting them to the highest levels.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Cuban President praised the wise leadership of President Bashar al-Assad and the legendary steadfastness of the Syrian people in the face of the unjust war waged against them.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">For his part, Ambassador Mayya conveyed the greetings of President al-Assad to President D\u00edaz-Canel and the friendly Cuban people, with wishes for continued progress and prosperity.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.sana.sy\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/3-50.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright wp-image-268194 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/www.sana.sy\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/3-50.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"174\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Mayya expressed thanks to President D\u00edaz-Canel and all Cuban ministries for the support they provide to strengthen relations between the two countries in all fields.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Cuban Prime Minister Manuel Marrero also received Ambassador Mayya, in the presence of Deputy Prime Minister Ricardo Cabrisas.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Marrero stressed Cuba&#8217;s firm stance in support of Syria in all fields and its rejection of the terrorist war it has been exposed to for more than 11 years.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">For his part, Dr. Mayya affirmed Syria&#8217;s firm support for Cuba in all forums and its condemnation of the US blockade and the unilateral coercive measures imposed on it.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Manar Salameh\/ Ruaa al-Jazaeri<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Havana, SANA- Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel stressed the strength and depth of the relations between Syria and Cuba, describing them as historic.
