Moscow, SANA- \u00a0Russian ambassador to the US, Anatoly Antonov, said that the events and provocations in the Ukrainian Bucha city are considered the climax of lies to accuse and demonize Russia.<\/p>\n
\u201cThese baseless accusations are part of coordinated efforts by the Western states to demonize Russian armed forces,\u201d RT Today quoted Antonov as saying in a statement.<\/p>\n
He added \u201cwe see that in Washington, they immediately took a stand and positioned themselves as the attorney general and started identifying the perpetrators.”<\/p>\n
\u201cThe American colleagues should pay attention to the facts and stop criminal indifference to the Ukrainian extremists\u2019 acts who continue detaining civilians, firing randomly on refugees, intimidating and torturing all those who do not share their Nazi ideology, ” Antonov affirmed.<\/p>\n
He noted that things are going exactly the opposite in the areas which are under the control of Russian forces in Ukraine, as hundreds of tons of food, medicines and necessities have been sent to meet the civilians\u2019 needs, and the Russian side also ensures the safety of humanitarian corridors to evacuate Ukrainians and foreign citizens.\u201d<\/p>\n
Antonov underlined the necessity for the US authorities to stop supplying Kyiv regime with weapons, saying \u201cWe call on Washington to stop supplying Ukraine with lethal weapons, since by doing that, the US causes more victims.\u201d<\/p>\n
He went on saying that the inability of Kyiv regime to ensure proper control of weapons caused the spread of gangs involved in looting, theft and terrorism.<\/p>\n
