Moscow, SANA- The Russian Defense Ministry announced that its forces continued to target Ukrainian military infrastructure facilities as part of a special operation to protect the population of Donbass.<\/p>\n
The Ministry’s spokesman, Major General Igor Konashenkov, said in a press briefing today that the tactical operational aviation of the Russian aerospace forces destroyed last night 29 Ukrainian military installations, including two command centers, a radar detection and shooting station of the S-300 anti-aircraft missile system, 7 artillery batteries, a depot for weapons, missile and artillery ammunition, 10 fortified sites and sites for mobilizing Ukrainian combat equipment.<\/p>\n
Konashenkov indicated that, through high-precision missiles launched from the air and the sea, 4 stores of fuel and lubricants were destroyed, in addition to downing five drones in different towns.<\/p>\n
The Spokesperson stated that since the beginning of the special operation, 125 aircraft, 93 helicopters, 413 drones, 227 anti-air missile systems, 1987 tanks and other armored vehicles, 218 launchers, and 218 anti-aircraft missile systems were destroyed, in addition to destroying 866 field guns and mortar launchers, and 1894 military vehicles affiliated to the Ukrainian armed forces.<\/p>\n
