Muscat, SANA- Defending Syria\u2019s sovereignty, independence, and territorial integrity, liberating every occupied inch of its territory, eliminating terrorist organizations, and taking care of the affairs of Syrian expatriates are priorities for Syria\u2019s foreign policy, said Syria\u2019s Ambassador to the Sultanate of Oman, Dr. Idris Mayya.<\/p>\n

Mayya\u2019s remarks came during a meeting held yesterday with the members of the Syrian community in the Sultanate of Oman.<\/p>\n

The Ambassador underscored importance of the role of Syrian expatriates in participating in the reconstruction stage in Syria.<\/p>\n

Dr. Mayya reviewed the latest developments of the political and economic situation in the country, asserting that Syria continues to confront all attempts aimed at targeting its identity and its role in the region.<\/p>\n

The Ambassador urged the members of the community to be united and support each other and present an honorable image of their motherland, Syria.\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

He highlighted the importance of the Syrian community\u2019s key role in participating in the reconstruction of what has been destroyed by terrorist organizations.<\/p>\n

In this regard, he referred to the legislations and laws issued by the government, which provided a lot of facilities to everyone who wants to make investments in the country.<\/p>\n

In turn, members of the Syrian community affirmed that the general amnesty decree issued on April 30th<\/sup> for terrorist crimes reflects once again the leadership\u2019s keenness on the return of every displaced person to his home and land despite the difficult conditions that the country is going through which have resulted from the terrorist war and the unilateral coercive measures imposed on Syria.<\/p>\n

Members of the community also praised the great sacrifices made by the Syrian Arab Army and the victories it achieved over terrorism and the wise and courageous leadership that has preserved the dignity of the homeland and its sovereignty.<\/p>\n
