Havana, SANA Cuban officials have renewed their\u00a0country’s solidarity with Syria in its war against\u00a0terrorism and extremism.<\/p>\n
During separate meetings with Head of the Syrian\u00a0diplomatic mission in Havana Dr. Loae al-Uoji,\u00a0President of the Cuban Institute of Friendship\u00a0with the Peoples, Kenya Serrano, and Director of
\nMiddle East and North Africa Department at the\u00a0Central Committee of Cuban Communist Party, Clara\u00a0Pulido Escandell, stressed that the Cuban people\u00a0have been standing by Syria in confronting\u00a0terrorism.<\/p>\n
Serrano and Escandell stressed that Syria’s\u00a0victory over the terrorist organizations is a\u00a0victory for the Cuban revolution and all honorable\u00a0people in the world in the face of their common\u00a0enemies, on top of them Imperialism, Zionism and\u00a0their reactionary allies.<\/p>\n
The Cuban officials stressed that the aggression\u00a0on Syria doesn’t seek to achieve democracy and\u00a0help the Syrian people , but it rather aims at\u00a0destroying and undermining this country which is\u00a0an example of coexistence.<\/p>\n
They stressed that Cuba highly appreciates the\u00a0sacrifices and resilience of the Syrian people in\u00a0the face of the global imperialism and terrorism.<\/p>\n
For his part, al-Uoji reviewed the reality of\u00a0what is happening in Syria, calling for supporting\u00a0Syria in combating terrorism, ending funding,\u00a0arming and training the armed terrorist\u00a0organizations and for stopping impeding the\u00a0political solution among the Syrians themselves.<\/p>\n
