{"id":278289,"date":"2022-07-20T11:04:51","date_gmt":"2022-07-20T08:04:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sana.sy\/en\/?p=278289"},"modified":"2022-07-20T11:04:51","modified_gmt":"2022-07-20T08:04:51","slug":"astana-guarantor-states-reiterate-commitment-to-syrias-sovereignty-territorial-integrity-and-fighting-terrorism","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/archive.sana.sy\/en\/?p=278289","title":{"rendered":"Astana guarantor states reiterate commitment to Syria\u2019s sovereignty , territorial integrity and fighting terrorism"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Tehran, SANA- The guarantor states of the Astana process (Russia, Iran and Turkey), reiterated their firm commitment to Syria\u2019s sovereignty, territorial integrity, proceeding with counter-terrorism campaign, and dismissed separatist schemes aimed at undermining Syria&#8217;s sovereignty.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\nIn a presidential communique published at conclusion of the tripartite summit held in Tehran on Wednesday the presidents affirmed their firm commitment to Syria\u2019s sovereignty, independence, unity and territorial integrity and the purposes and principles of the United Nation\u2019s Charter, stressed the need to respect these principles by the international community, expressed their determination to continue coordination to fight terrorism in all its forms and manifestations.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\nThe statement presidents affirmed \u201cconstant coordination to uproot all terrorist groups, institutions and entities\u201d, noting that \u201cthe crisis in Syria could only be solved via a Syrians-led political process facilitated by the United Nations\u201d.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\nThe three presidents asserted \u201cthe need to guarantee a safe and voluntary return of refugees and the internally displaced persons to their homes\u201d, called on \u201cthe international community to make effective contributions to this process and to support recovery projects and basic infrastructure\u201d.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\nThe heads of the guarantor states \u201ccondemned the continuation of the Israeli aggressions on the Syrian territories\u201d, stressed that these aggressions \u201cviolate the international law, Syria\u2019s sovereignty and territorial integrity, destabilize the region and increase tension.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\nThe presidents agreed to assign their representatives to prepare for the 19th international meeting on Syria in the Astana format by the end of this year, and to hold the next tripartite summit in Russia.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\nIn a press conference the Iranian president Ibrahim Raisi said\u201d The US illegal presence in Syrian Jazeera is unjustified under any pretext and the US occupation forces have to leave that region and that all Syrian regions be under the state dominance.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\nThe Russian president Vladimir Putin that \u201cthe three countries share the same views on a political settlement in Syria in accordance with UN Resolution No.2254 and to abide by all the necessary principles to respect Syria\u2019s sovereignty and territorial integrity, and that the future of Syria will be decided by its people without prejudgments.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Nisreen Othman \/ Amer Dawa<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Tehran, SANA- The guarantor states of the Astana process (Russia, Iran and Turkey), reiterated their firm commitment to Syria\u2019s sovereignty, territorial integrity, proceeding with counter-terrorism campaign, and dismissed separatist schemes aimed at undermining Syria&#8217;s sovereignty.
