Aleppo, SANA – Syrian basketball player-coach Nour Aslou was killed on Saturday at the hands of a terrorist sniper while she was getting out of al-Assad Sports Hall in Aleppo province.<\/p>\n
Aslou was one of the youngest basketball coaches in Syria and she worked at al-Jalaa Club where she coached junior female basketball players. Her team ranked first in Aleppo Basketball Championship for junior female players which has been recently concluded.<\/p>\n
After finishing the competitions of the championship, Aslou was working to prepare her team for the competitions of the local tournament, yet she was killed before finishing her honorable task.<\/p>\n
Aslou was born in 1989 and she held a B.A in Economy and Trade. She joined al-Jalaa Club at a very young age.<\/p>\n
