Beirut, SANA- \u201cSyria is the cornerstone of the resistance axis and our partner in refusing to surrender to Israeli conditions,\u201d Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah has affirmed.<\/p>\n
Sayyed Nasrallah\u2019s remarks came in a speech on the occasion of the fortieth anniversary of the establishment of Hezbollah, which was broadcast by al-Manar TV.<\/p>\n
Nasrallah said \u201cToday, tomorrow, and at any time, if the resistant Syria is exposed to any aggression, we will not hesitate in getting involved in that confrontation and stand by it.\u201d<\/p>\n
Sayyed Nasrallah underscored the importance of the return of normal relations between Syria and Lebanon, especially that the biggest beneficiary of it is Lebanon.<\/p>\n
He highlighted the need to thank the Syrian leadership and people for standing by Lebanon and its people during the past forty years, as Syria has opened doors for them and secured political, diplomatic and security protection for it.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe will remain part of the resistance axis, we bet on it as an ultimate power capable of facing hegemony schemes and securing sanctities,\u201d said Nasrallah.<\/p>\n
He added \u201cThe victory in 2000 put an end to \u2018Greater Israel project\u2019 and shattered the so-called \u2018invincible army\u2019.\u201d<\/p>\n
Regarding the Palestinian cause, Sayyed Nasrallah said it is part of our nation\u2019s religion, culture, honor and dignity, warning that there is no place for abandonment or retreat whatsoever.<\/p>\n
Sayyed Nasrallah stated that Hezbollah will not give in to any threats regarding the demarcation of Lebanon\u2019s maritime borders, describing such threats as worthless.<\/p>\n
