Damascus, SANA_ Temperature continue to drop to become lower than the average from 4 to 7 degrees as the country is being affected with a low pressure in all layers of the atmosphere accompanied with a cold and wet air.<\/p>\n
The Meteorology Department expected, in its Friday bulletin, that the weather will be partly cloudy to cloudy rainy. Snow is also expected over the mountains whose height exceed 900 meters.<\/p>\n
The wind will be southwestern with a light and moderate speed and the height of waves will be moderate to high.<\/p>\n
Varying amounts of rains poured in several provinces during the past 24 hours, with the maximum rainfall being in al-Mzeira\u2019a area (107 mm) and Bahloliyeh (65 mm) in the coastal province of Lattakia and Hmmam Wasel (60 mm) and al-Sheikh Badr (58 mm) in the coastal province of Tartous.<\/p>\n
On Saturday the weather will be partly cloudy in general, rain is expected over many areas and temperature will rise, yet it will remain lower than average from 3 to 6 degrees.<\/p>\n
