New York, SANA- Foreign and Expatriates Minister, Fayssal Mikdad, discussed with his Azerbaijani counterpart Jeyhun Bayramov ,\u00a0 on sidelines of the 77th session of the U N General Assembly (UNGA 77) , the agenda of the Non-Aligned Movement.<\/p>\n

The two Ministers\u00a0 Mikdad and Bayramov affirmed the need to boost the Non-Aligned Movement \u2018s work with regard to issues of interest to member states and to coordinate between its countries in various international forums in a way that serves the common interests of its members.<\/p>\n

Minister Mikdad also met with Eritrean counterpart Osman Saleh Mohammed , and they discussed the challenges facing developing countries and how to unite efforts to confront these challenges, especially in light of the tense international situation caused by Western countries.<\/p>\n

For his part,minister Saleh expressed his country’s support for Syria’s efforts in combating terrorism and confronting unilateral coercive measures.<\/p>\n

The two sides affirmed the necessity of building a multipolar world based on respect for international law, non-interference in the internal affairs of other countries and respect for their sovereignty, independence and territorial integrity, stressing the need to strengthen bilateral relations between the two friendly countries.<\/p>\n
