Damascus, SANA-The Traffic Department at the Ministry of Interior on Saturday issued a list on the road conditions in the Syrian provinces due to the current weather as follows:<\/p>\n
In Damascus Countryside, all main roads are open for traffic except some sub-roads such as the roads of Hina-Darbel-Erneh, Hina-Ein al-Shaara-Khirbat al-Souda, Erna- Bqasa\u2019am,- al-Rima and Sasa-Hirna-Qatana-Kafar Qouq-Rakhla which are closed due to the accumulation of snow.<\/p>\n
\nAll the roads which lead to al-Zabadani area are hardly passable due to the accumulation of snow, except the road of al-Zabadani-Sirghayia and al-Zabadani-al-Rawda which are closed due to the snowdrift while all the roads in al-Tal area are barely open due to accumulation of snow.<\/p>\n
In Hama, all the roads are open except the road of Shatha-Joubat Bourghal-Jourin-Slunfa which is not passable due to the snow.<\/p>\n
In Lattakia, all main roads are open except the road of Aleppo-al-Kanisat which is closed due to the landslides.<\/p>\n
In al-Qerdaha area, the roads of Joubat Burghal- al-Ghab and Markyia-Maqamat Bani Hashem, al-Qarandah-al-Sha\u2019ara-al-Ghab are closed due to the snowdrift and the icy conditions.<\/p>\n
In Sweida, all roads are open for traffic except the road of al-Mushannaf and the road of al-Tayyba-Dahir al-Jabal-Sali which are closed due to the accumulation of snow while the roads of Shahba-Nimra and the road which lead to Salkhad are hardly open due to the thick fog.<\/p>\n
The Traffic Department called upon drivers to drive carefully, use fog lights, check the brakes and reduce speed to avoid traffic accidents.<\/p>\n
