Provinces, SANA_ Units of the army and armed forces on Saturday continued its mop-up operations, tightening the noose around foreign-backed terrorists in several areas across the country.<\/p>\n
Damascus Countryside<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n A military source said that an army unit killed \u00a0terrorists of Jabhat al-Nusra-linked “Liwa al-Haq” and “Liwa al-Furqan” terrorist groups in Khan al-Sheeh area in Damascus Countryside.<\/p>\n A military source told SANA on Saturday that an\u00a0army unit clashed with the terrorists who were trying to infiltrate from al-Fusoul al-Arbaa street towards al-Khamara area on al-Salam highway in Khan al-Sheeh town, located in the southwestern countryside of Damascus.<\/p>\n The source added that the clashes resulted in the\u00a0killing of a number of terrorists, among them were a terrorist nicknamed\u00a0al-Jebbawi, a leader in the so- called “Liwa al-Haq” and another terrorist named\u00a0Abu Obaidah Hijazi, a leader in the so-called “Liwa al-Furqan”, in addition to the\u00a0terrorist Osama Tahawi.<\/p>\n Few weeks ago, the army foiled an attempt by\u00a0members of the armed terrorist organizations operating in Khan al-Sheeh town to\u00a0block al-Salam highway near al-khamara area.<\/p>\n Homs<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n Army units destroyed a truck laden with terrorist’s weapons and explosives and killed many terrorists in continuous operations in the eastern countryside of the central Homs province.<\/p>\n A military source told SANA that an army unit destroyed a truck loaded with big amounts of weapons and explosives near Hannoura village, 40 km to the east of Homs city, leaving all the terrorists aboard dead.<\/p>\n Other army units, the source added, killed numbers of takfiri terrorist organizations’ members in the eastern countryside of the province during operations launched against their gatherings in Onq al-Hawa village and the area between Manoukh and al-Tafha villages.<\/p>\n Army units also clashed with terrorists who attacked Jebb al-Jarrah town, using different sorts of weapons, where many terrorists were killed or injured and their weapons were destroyed.<\/p>\n The source also said army units destroyed a vehicle, leaving all the terrorists on board killed in al-Ballan village in al-Rastan area.<\/p>\n \u00a0Daraa<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n A military source said that the army and armed forces units destroyed a number of vehicles with all terrorists onboard in Aqraba village in the countryside of the southern province of Daraa.<\/p>\n Other army units eliminated a number of terrorists and injured others in Tal Antar between the areas of Deir al-Adas, Kafr Nasej, and Kafr Shams in the province\u2019s countryside, according to the source.<\/p>\n The source also pointed out that the military operations targeted Jasem city in the northwest corner of Daraa, al-Sheikh Miskin, 22km far from Daraa and the national forest , to the west of al-Sheikh Miskin, as the army units destroyed terrorists\u2019 gathering and a number of vehicles.<\/p>\n Terrorists Hassan Habib, Mohammad Hikmat Abdullah al-Zoubi, Mohammad Ahmad al-Mahed, Mohammad Abdel-Rahman al-talfah and Saker Issa al-Wahdan were identified among the killed.<\/p>\n The army units also killed a number of terrorists in the villages of Kafr Nasij, Samlin, Inkhel, al-Sheikh Miskin, Atman, al-Hrak, al-Jiza, Ma\u2019rabah, Busra al-Sham and al-Tal al-Shamali of Zamrin town in the countryside.<\/p>\n Terrorists\u2019 pages on social networking sites acknowledged the death of several of their members including Mohammad Hosni Udwan and Ibrahim Shihadeh al-Marjan, the latter succumbing to his wounds after being transported to a hospital in Jordan.<\/p>\n The terrorist organizations are moving their injured members to the Jordanian hospitals and hospitals of the Israeli entity which offers all kinds of support to the terrorists.<\/p>\n Hasaka<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n Units of the army and armed those who were killed and\u00a0wounded during the army’s operations against their gatherings and hideouts.<\/p>\n Sweida<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n A unit of the army and armed\u00a0forces destroyed a heavy machinegun- equipped vehicle, killing all terrorists aboard,\u00a0in Tal Ashhib al-Janoubi in the countryside of the southern province.<\/p>\n Quneitra<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n Army units carried out a series of operations targeting terrorist concentrations in Rasm al-Halabi and Rasoum al-Khamis sites in the surroundings of Bir Ajam village in Quneitra province.<\/p>\n The source added that the military operations resulted in destroying the terrorists\u2019 weapons and ammo, killing and injuring a number of terrorists linked to Jabhat al-Nusra, the so-called Islamic Ahrar al-Sham, Alwiyet al-Furqan and other Takfiri terrorists\u2019 organizations.<\/p>\n The source mentioned that other army units killed and injured a number of terrorists, destroying a number of their vehicles in Um Batenah which is located in the liberated part of the occupied Syrian Golan and surrounding Tal Masshara, 22 km to the east of Quneitra.<\/p>\n Other terrorists were killed in Aqraba village and al-Rawadi area in the countryside.<\/p>\n The army and armed forces are launching military operations in many areas in Damascus countryside, Quneitra and Daraa, as the army restored security and stability to a number of villages and strategic hills , killing a number of terrorists who are supported by Jordan and intelligences of Israel, US, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, France and Turkey.<\/p>\n Idleb<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n Army units targeted terrorist concentrations in Tal Salmo, al-Majas, Oum Jarin, and al-Baya’at in Abu al-Duhour area in Idleb countryside.<\/p>\n Other units targeted
