Russian forces eliminated about 100 Ukrainian troops, including mercenaries, in a missile strike in the Kupyansk area, Lieutenant-General Igor Konashenkov reported<\/span><\/p>\n

MOSCOW, SANA-Russian combat aircraft, missile and artillery troops struck five Ukrainian command posts in the past day in their special military operation in Ukraine, Defense Ministry Spokesman Lieutenant-General Igor Konashenkov reported on Tuesday.<\/p>\n

“The strikes by operational-tactical and army aviation aircraft, missile and artillery troops struck five Ukrainian army command posts in the areas of the city of Kharkov, the communities of Kramatorsk in the Donetsk People\u2019s Republic, Nikopol in the Dnepropetrovsk Region, Zelyony Gai in the Kherson Region and Bereznegovatoye in the Nikolayev Region, and also 43 artillery units, manpower and military equipment in 157 areas,” the spokesman said.<\/p>\n

The strikes also destroyed five ammunition and arms depots in the areas of the settlements of Torskoye, Malinovka and Zhelannoye in the Donetsk People\u2019s Republic, Dimitrovo in the Zaporozhye Region and Shevchenko in the Nikolayev Region, the general said.<\/p>\n

Russian troops destroyed a Ukrainian Buk-M1 anti-aircraft missile system in the Donetsk People\u2019s Republic in their special military operation in Ukraine, Konashenkov reported.<\/p>\n

“In the area of the settlement of Chasov Yar in the Donetsk People\u2019s Republic, a Buk-M1 surface-to-air missile system was destroyed,” the spokesman said.<\/p>\n

Russia\u2019s Aerospace Forces struck the headquarters of the Ukrainian Air Force Command East in a precision strike against the south-western outskirts of Dnieper, Konashenkov reported.<\/p>\n

“In the south-western outskirts of Dnieper, a precision strike by Russia\u2019s Aerospace Forces hit the headquarters of the Ukrainian Air Force Command East,” the spokesman said.<\/p>\n

Russian forces eliminated about 100 Ukrainian troops, including mercenaries, in a missile strike in the Kupyansk area, Konashenkov reported.<\/p>\n

“In the Kupyansk direction, in the areas of the settlements of Dvurechnaya, Petropavlovka and Kupyansk in the Kharkov Region, the missile strikes against the clusters of manpower of the Ukrainian army\u2019s 14th and 92nd mechanized brigades eliminated up to 100 servicemen, including foreign mercenaries, and 16 pieces of military hardware,” the spokesman said.<\/p>\n

Russian troops delivered missile strikes against the aircraft repair workshops of the Motor Sich factory in the Zaporozhye Region and wiped out a Ukrainian army ammunition depot, Konashenkov reported.<\/p>\n

“The missile strikes in the area of the city of Zaporozhye destroyed an ammunition depot of the Ukrainian army\u2019s 65th mechanized brigade and also the aircraft repair workshops on the premises of the Motor Sich factory. The strikes eliminated over 15 tons of ammunition, including rockets of the HIMARS multiple launch rocket system, and also two Ukrainian Mi-24 helicopters,” the spokesman said.<\/p>\n

Russia\u2019s Aerospace Forces delivered strikes against the Ukrainian army\u2019s three brigades in the Krivoi Rog and Andreyevka areas, eliminating up to 250 militants, Konashenkov reported.<\/p>\n

“In the Krivoi Rog and Andreyevka areas, the strikes by Russia\u2019s Aerospace Forces against units of the Ukrainian army\u2019s 24th mechanized, 17th armored and 128th mountain assault brigades in the areas of the settlements of Belaya Krinitsa, Arkhangelskoye, Lyubimovka and Zolotaya Balka destroyed nine tanks, 12 infantry fighting vehicles, 20 vehicles and up to 250 servicemen,” the spokesman said.<\/p>\n
