government and people in facing terrorism and\u00a0restoring security and stability to Syria,\u00a0Chairman of Iranian Shura Council Ali Larijani
\nsaid.<\/p>\n
Meeting Syria’s Ambassador in Tehran Dr. Adnan\u00a0Mahmoud on Monday, Larijani reiterated that the\u00a0strategic Syrian-Iranian relations emerge from the\u00a0deep-rooted friendship and fraternal ties between\u00a0the two peoples.<\/p>\n
Larijani expressed hope for expanding fields of\u00a0cooperation between the two countries, especially\u00a0in the economic field for providing the basic\u00a0needs of the Syrian people.<\/p>\n
For his part, Dr. Mahmoud briefed Larijani on the\u00a0political, field and economic developments in\u00a0Syria and the heroic achievements of the Syrian\u00a0Arab Army against the Takfiri terrorist\u00a0organizations.<\/p>\n
The Ambassador also hailed the Iranian government\u00a0and people’s support to the Syrian people.<\/p>\n
