{"id":301833,"date":"2023-02-26T10:20:34","date_gmt":"2023-02-26T07:20:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sana.sy\/en\/?p=301833"},"modified":"2023-02-26T10:54:25","modified_gmt":"2023-02-26T07:54:25","slug":"an-eu-aid-plane-arrives-at-damascus-international-airport","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/archive.sana.sy\/en\/?p=301833","title":{"rendered":"An EU aid plane arrives at Damascus International Airport"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Damascus, SANA- An aid plane, provided by the EU countries, arrived at Damascus Airport on Sunday, carrying relief and medical supplies for the earthquake-affected people.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cI offer sincere condolences to the victims of the earthquake that struck Syria, and today we came on a mission organized by the European Union and the International Red Cross to provide assistance to people in need as soon as possible,\u201d Head of EU humanitarian aid operations in Syria, Luigi Pandolfi says.<a href=\"http:\/\/107.6.182.27\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/2-67.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-301870 alignright\" src=\"http:\/\/107.6.182.27\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/2-67.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"220\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Pandolfi adds \u201cSince the first day of the earthquake, the EU has increased its support for Syria through the Red Crescent Organization, to ensure that aid reaches all parts of Syria as quickly as possible, and since February 8, we have activated the EU Civil Protection Mechanism.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">According to Pandolfi, 15 European countries have sent aid for the all those affected by the disastrous quake which hit Syria recently, and they will continue providing more aid.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Head of Syrian Arab Red Crescent (SARC) Eng.
