Damascus, SANA- Syria and the Democratic People\u2019s Republic of Korea\u2019s Friendship Committee at the People\u2019s Assembly discussed on Monday with Charg\u00e9 d\u2019 Affaires of DPRK Embassy in Damascus, Kim Hye Ryong, means of enhancing and developing parliamentary relations between the two countries.<\/p>\n

During the meeting, Chairman and members of the committee described relations between Syria and DPRK as deeply-rooted, affirming and the need to develop them in a way that meets the higher interest of the two friendly peoples.<\/p>\n

They called for increasing the exchange of visits and experiences, particularly in the parliamentary, economic, educational, and agricultural domains, hailing the stances of DPRK in support of Syria.<\/p>\n

DPRK Charge d\u2019 Affairs, for his part, described as \u201cstrong and distinguished\u201d the bilateral ties between the two countries, stressing that his country’ support to Syria\u2019s sovereignty and stability is firm and continuous.<\/p>\n
