New York,SANA-Iranian Permanent Representative to the United Nations Amir Saeid Iravani affirmed that the illegal presence of foreign military forces, including the American forces in Syria is a flagrant violation of the United Nations Charter and international laws.<\/p>\n
Iravani’s remarks came during the Security Council meeting on political and humanitarian affairs in Syria.<\/p>\n
He said that the fight against terrorism must take place with full respect for the national sovereignty and territorial integrity of Syria, and without using this fight as a pretext for violating the basic principles of international law, IRNA reported.<\/p>\n
The illegal presence of foreign military forces, including American forces, in Syria is a flagrant violation of the Charter of the United Nations and international laws, and it is The main source of insecurity in this country,Iravani said.<\/p>\n
Iravani said that the providing humanitarian aid must be carried out without preconditions and in accordance with humanitarian principles, neutrality and non-discrimination.<\/p>\n
“According to the UN Secretary-General’s report, the continuation of unilateral sanctions has impeded humanitarian aid’s access in Syria,” he added.<\/p>\n
He strongly condemned the continued agressin of Israeli entity against Syria, especially against civilian infrastructure, and the continued occupation of the Syrian Arab Golan.<\/p>\n
