Damascus, SANA – The National\u00a0Leadership of the Baath Arab Socialist Party (BASP) stressed that the anniversary of March 8th Revolution comes this year against the backdrop of more victories made by the Syrian Arab army against terrorist organizations on the ground.<\/p>\n
The leadership clarified in a statement on the occasion of 52nd anniversary of the 1963 Revolution, which was led by BASP, was further boosted by the achievements of the Correctionist Movement of 1970 and continued through the stage of progress and development relying on solid national and popular basis that believed in the Revolution.<\/p>\n
The anniversary is coming amidst signs of change as far as the terrorism-triggered crisis in Syria is concerned, said the statement, noting that there is positive character to these signs in terms of the growing awareness of the Syrian people of the plots targeting their country as well as their unity and trust in the Syrian Arab army to achieve full victory in its war against terrorism.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe Syrian people have proved that they are distinguished, holding creative ideas and having the ability to express them under the umbrella of the homeland and within the institutional frame\u2026they are determined to reconstruct the country all over again,\u201d the statement added.<\/p>\n
