Baku, SANA- Foreign and Expatriates Minister, Fayssal Mikdad, discussed with his Iranian counterpart Hossein Amir Abdullahian the latest regional and international developments.<\/p>\n
On the sidelines of Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) meeting held in the Azerbaijani capital, Baku, the two sides reviewed Thursday the most important issues on the agenda of the Baku meeting.<\/p>\n
In this context, both Foreign Ministers condemned the repeated crimes committed by the Israeli occupation against the Palestinian people, the latest of which was its assault on Jenin and its camp.<\/p>\n
In addition, talks highlighted enhancing the strategic bilateral ties in various fields, hailing the high-level coordination and cooperation between the two countries at international forums.<\/p>\n
They also noted the importance of maintaining coordination against Western policies that target Syria, Iran and other countries, which reject such policies.<\/p>\n
It should be noted that the ministers of many countries have made an official visit to Baku to participate in the Ministerial Meeting of the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM)\u00a0hosted by Azerbaijan.<\/p>\n
The event, which started Wednesday, was scheduled\u00a0to be held for two days on July 5 and 6 in Azerbaijan’s capital.<\/p>\n
