Provinces, SANA- Under the slogan \u201cFor Every Heartbeat\u201d Health Ministry launched the national campaign to check blood pressure in all provinces.<\/p>\n

The campaign, which will last until August 31st aims to raise health awareness of check blood pressure reading among people, and follow a healthy lifestyle to prevent diseases.<\/p>\n

Over 8,500 health cadres participate in the campaign which will be carried out through 874 health centers and 399 mobile teams, according to Director of Primary Health Care at the Ministry, Dr. Razan Tarabishi.<\/p>\n

Tarabishi added that all citizens aged 18 and over are targeted in all province.<\/p>\n

In turn, Director of Communicable and Chronic Diseases, Dr. Zuhair al-Sahwa, said that during the campaign, those suspected of high blood pressure will be referred to the specialized clinics for follow-up and medical supervision and treatment.<\/p>\n
