{"id":316257,"date":"2023-09-05T21:44:07","date_gmt":"2023-09-05T18:44:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sana.sy\/en\/?p=316257"},"modified":"2023-09-05T21:44:07","modified_gmt":"2023-09-05T18:44:07","slug":"mikdad-arab-japanese-political-dialogue-a-precious-opportunity-to-promote-bilateral-cooperation","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/archive.sana.sy\/en\/?p=316257","title":{"rendered":"Mikdad: Arab-Japanese Political dialogue a precious opportunity to promote bilateral cooperation"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Cairo, SANA- The 3<sup>rd<\/sup> ministerial meeting on the Arab-Japanese Political dialogue was held on Tuesday in Cairo with the participation of Syrian Foreign and Expatriates Minister Fayssal Mikdad.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/sana.sy\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/2-5.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright wp-image-316258 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/sana.sy\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/2-5.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"166\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Mikdad, in a speech at the meeting, said the forum is a precious opportunity to promote the Arab-Japanese cooperation, adding \u201cwe appreciate Japan stance that kept its diplomatic presence in Syria and met its moral and human commitments to help the Syrian people face attempts of starving adopted by well \u2013 known countries.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cIn Syria, terrorism with all its forms, poses a main danger, and this requires support to combat it and end any foreign illegitimate presence on the Syrian territory as occupation provides cover and sponsorship for the terrorist groups and separatist militias,\u201d Mikdad said.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">He added that persistence on imposing and expanding the unilateral coercive measures, which rise to the level of economic embargo, is an immoral act that violates the international law rules and the UN convention and aggravates the livelihood and humanitarian situation.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/sana.sy\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/3-5.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright wp-image-316259 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/sana.sy\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/3-5.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"180\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cWe highly evaluate the funding offered by Japan for the humanitarian response projects in Syria, particularly during the earthquake catastrophe, and we hope Japan would expand its support for the early recovery projects and rehabilitation of infrastructure,\u201d Mikdad said.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">On the regional level, Mikdad stressed that the Israeli occupation of the Arab territories is still the main factor that poses threat to security and stability in the Middle East. \u00a0\u201cJust and comprehensive peace in the region requires ending the Israeli occupation and its withdrawal from the occupied Palestinian territory, including Eastern Jerusalem and its withdrawal from the occupied Syrian Golan to the line of June 4<sup>th<\/sup>, 1967 and from the occupied Lebanese territories in addition to the establishment of the independent Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital,\u201d Mikdad said.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Mazen Eyon<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Cairo, SANA- The 3rd ministerial meeting on the Arab-Japanese Political dialogue was held on Tuesday in Cairo with the participation of Syrian Foreign and Expatriates Minister Fayssal Mikdad.
