Damascus, SANA-Embassy of Democratic People\u2019s Republic of Korea (DPRK) in Damascus held a reception Thursday on the 75th<\/sup> anniversary of the National Day.<\/p>\n

Charge de\u2019 Affairs of the Embassy, kim Hye Ryeong, said ties of cooperation and friendship between Syria and Korea are increasingly witnessing development.<\/p>\n

Ryeong was confident that Syria, as people and government, would achieve the final victory against terrorism, saying that Syria has defeated all forms of terrorist and hostile conspiracies.<\/p>\n

\u201cDPRK, since its establishment on September 9th<\/sup>, 1948, has achieved significant victory and a big change in the face of political pressures and dangerous military threats,\u201d the Korean diplomat said.<\/p>\n

For his part, Director of the Afro-Asian Department at the Foreign Ministry, Ambassador Mohammad Hajj Ibrahim, said that the fraternal relations between the two countries and peoples are steadily progressing, indicating that the crisis to which Syria has gone through since 12 years proved the depth and strength of relations between the two countries.<\/p>\n

Hajj Ibrahim hailed the clear, courageous and firm stance of DPRK towards events that Syria passed through.<\/p>\n
