{"id":322518,"date":"2023-12-24T08:30:45","date_gmt":"2023-12-24T05:30:45","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sana.sy\/en\/?p=322518"},"modified":"2023-12-24T10:29:18","modified_gmt":"2023-12-24T07:29:18","slug":"syrian-iraqi-talks-to-bolster-cooperation-in-energy-field","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/archive.sana.sy\/en\/?p=322518","title":{"rendered":"Syrian-Iraqi talks to bolster cooperation in energy field"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Baghdad, SANA- Syria and Iraq discussed means to enhance bilateral cooperation in the electric energy field.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">That came during a meeting between Syrian Ambassador in Baghdad, Sattam Jadaan al-Dandah and Iraqi Minister of Electricity, Ziad Ali Fadel.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Media office of Iraqi Electricity Ministry said in a statement to SANA correspondent in Baghdad \u201cthe talks focused on developing joint strategic plans to improve energy sector and ensure its sustainability in both countries.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The two sides agreed to exchange experiences and implement Joint projects to improve electrical capacity, achieve energy self-sufficiency, and consolidate stability and development in the region, according to the statement.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Ambassador al-Dandah said in a statement that the meeting stressed the depth of Syrian-Iraqi distinguished fraternal and historical relations, and the keenness to boost bilateral relations and upgrade them to the highest levels.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Al-Dandah added the discussions dealt with completing the electrical interconnection agreement between the two brotherly countries in al-Bukamal-al-Qaim region, in addition to exchanging expertise in the energy fields through visits and preparing the required studies.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Rafah al-Allouni\/ Mazen Eyon<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Baghdad, SANA- Syria and Iraq discussed means to enhance bilateral cooperation in the electric energy field.
