Abu Dhabi, SANA – Syrian Special Olympic team for\u00a0athletes member Fatima al-Hassan won silver medal\u00a0in the 55kg category in the weightlifting at the\u00a06th FAZAA International Athletics Competition in\u00a0UAE.<\/p>\n

Al-Hassan managed to lift 80 kg, while Player\u00a0Nathalie Elias won the bronze medal in the 61 kg\u00a0category as she managed to lift 85 kg.<\/p>\n

Earlier, player Noura Baddour won the silver medal\u00a0in the 41 kg category. The number of the medals of\u00a0the Syrian team raised to three medals.<\/p>\n

The events of the competition will continue in\u00a0Dubai until next Wednesday with the participation\u00a0of more than 130 athletes representing 25\u00a0countries.<\/p>\n

The Syrian national team includes the athletes\u00a0Shadi Issa, Rasha al- Sheikh , Natali Elias, Noura\u00a0Baddour, and Fatima Hasan who are under the\u00a0supervision of coach Fadi Fahham.<\/p>\n

Teams achieve good results in this events\u00a0will qualify for the Rio 2016 Paralympic Games.<\/p>\n
