Moscow, SANA- The number of fatalities following the Ukrainian strike on a bakery in Lysychansk, Lugansk People’s Republic (LPR), has climbed to 28 people.<\/p>\n
“Operatives from the Russian Emergencies Ministry have rescued 10 people. Unfortunately, 28 people, including one child, died,” the press service of the Russian Emergencies Ministry told TASS.<\/p>\n
The agency added that the search-and-rescue operation at the collapsed bakery in Lysychansk in the Lugansk People\u2019s Republic (LPR) was underway. “About 65% of destroyed construction elements have been pulled out,” the press service added.<\/p>\n
On Saturday, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman, Maria Zakharova, said that 11 civilians were killed, and that dozens are still under the rubble.<\/p>\n
Zakharova stressed that targeting the bakery by the Kiev regime despite of its knowledge of the presence of a large number of civilians on the holiday is a terrorist act that shows the criminal nature of this regime.<\/p>\n
Ukrainian troops delivered a strike on a bakery in Lysychansk on Saturday afternoon. Work on removing the rubble continued overnight.<\/p>\n
