Damascus , SANA – With military honors and in the presence of Defense Minister ,General Ali Abbas, the funeral of the martyrs of the Iranian advisors who died in the Israeli aggression on the Iranian Consulate in Damascus took place today from the Military Hospital in Damascus before moving the bodies to Tehran.<\/p>\n
\u2018These martyrs were our partners in fighting terrorism on Syrian soil to purify it from terrorism and its supporters of states, terrorist groups, or organizations.\u201d Minister Abbas said in his speech during the funeral.<\/p>\n
\u201cIn my name and the name of every military personnel in the Syrian Arab Army, I offer condolences to Iran\u2019s leadership, people, army and officers for the martyrdom of such heroes.\u201d General Abbas added.<\/p>\n
The Iranian ambassador to Syria, Hussain Akbari, in turn, said, \u201cThis heinous crime committed by the Zionist entity, which was built on murder, crime, and violation of international conventions, constitutes a clear violation to the United Nations and all countries belonging to this international group, before insulting Iran and Syria, which had known the criminal nature of this entity.\u201d<\/p>\n
