Nouakchott, Dushanbe, SANA- The Islamic Republic of Mauritania has condemned the Israeli terrorist attack that targeted the Iranian consulate in Damascus.<\/p>\n
In a statement published by the Mauritanian News Agency, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation and Mauritanians Abroad considered this attack a blatant violation of the sovereignty of the Syrian Republic, and a great disregard for international agreements and conventions that protect the sanctity of diplomatic and consular headquarters.<\/p>\n
\u00a0\u201cThe Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation, and Mauritanians Abroad received with strong condemnation the targeting of the Iranian consulate in Damascus by Israeli aircraft, in a blatant violation of the sovereignty of the Syrian Republic, and in great disregard for international agreements and conventions that protect the sanctity of diplomatic and consular headquarters,\u201d the statement read.<\/p>\n
The statement added: \u201cThe Ministry denounces this shameful targeting and reaffirms the necessity of respecting diplomatic and consular headquarters and the sovereignty of states, in accordance with the international law.\u201d<\/p>\n
Tajikistan also condemned the Israeli terrorist aggression that targeted the Iranian consulate in Damascus last Monday, stressing that it violates international laws.<\/p>\n
The Tajik Foreign Ministry affirmed in a statement that: \u201cSuch actions constitute a violation of international laws, especially the Vienna Conventions\u2026 We consider them completely unacceptable.\u201d<\/p>\n
