Tehran, SANA- Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi has affirmed that the \u201cTrue Promise\u201d operation, which came in response to the Zionist attack on the Iranian consulate in Damascus, broke the Zionist entity\u2019s dominance and arrogance, and its constant talk about its deterrent power.<\/p>\n
President Raisi made the remarks at the parade of the Islamic Republic of Iran Army on the occasion of National Army Day.<\/p>\n
\u201cThis operation showed that our armed forces are ready to respond to any attack,\u201d Iranian News Agency (IRNA) quoted Raisi as saying.<\/p>\n
The Iranian President stressed that the operation was a was \u201climited\u201d and \u201cpunitive\u201d and within international frameworks.<\/p>\n
Raisi noted that any attack on Iran\u2019s interests will be met with a more decisive and resolute response.<\/p>\n
He added that \u201cthere is no longer any talk about a military option against Iran by the enemies, and this is important because of the deterrence power and capability that our armed forces enjoy.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cOur army is a skilled and trained one,\u201d the Iranian President said. \u201cThe army is equipped with modern innovations and technologies. The equipment that had to be maintained by other countries before the Islamic Revolution is being updated today by the capable hands of our armed forces and army.\u201d<\/p>\n
He further noted that \u201cour armed forces are the sources of the country\u2019s authority,\u201d adding that regional forces can \u201crely on our armed forces.\u201d<\/p>\n
