Moscow, SANA-National Security Advisor at the General Secretariat of the Presidency of the Republic, Major General Ali Mamlouk, said Thursday that national identity and values \u200b\u200bare the first line of defense possessed by society to maintain social unity and its internal immunity in the face of foreign agendas.<\/p>\n
\u201cPreserving national identity and traditional values \u200b\u200bfor the sake of security, peace and international stability is an important issue at a time when some countries seek to tear apart other countries and invade them by targeting their national identity and attacking their social values to achieve their political agenda under misleading slogans and titles,\u201d Mamlouk said in a speech before the 12th International Meeting of the High-Level officials of Security issues, held in the Russian city of St. Petersburg.<\/p>\n
Mamlouk went on to say that the terrorist war on Syria was targeting identity and Belonging, which means targeting the first line of defense for the community responsible for preserving social unity in the face of foreign agendas and culture invasion attempts, expressing Syria’s appreciation for Russia\u2019s support to Syria in counter-terrorism.<\/p>\n
