Lattakia, SANA- On the occasion of the 79th anniversary of the victory over Nazism at the Great Russian Patriotic War, a central ceremony was held on Thursday at the Hmeimim base.<\/p>\n

Representative of the General Command of the Army and Armed Forces, Commander of the Naval Forces and Coastal Defense, and General Sergey Kisel, Commander of the Russian forces operating in Syria attended the ceremony.<\/p>\n

The celebration included a military parade with the participation of Russian and Syrian army units.<\/p>\n

Representative of the General Command of the Army and Armed Forces, commander of the naval forces and coastal defense conveyed the greetings and congratulations of President Bashar al-Assad, commander-in-chief of the army and the armed forces, to the friendly Russian Federation, People, Army and leadership, on the anniversary of Victory Day over Nazism.<\/p>\n
