Damascus, SANA-Speaker of the People\u2019s Assembly ,Hammoudeh Sabbagh ,affirmed the strength of Syrian-Algerian relations and the importance of bolstering them to serve the interests of the two countries.<\/p>\n

This came during a meeting on Tuesday with Algerian Ambassador in Damascus Kamal Boushama.<\/p>\n

Sabbagh hoped that the bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries would witness more meetings, the development of visions, cooperation and coordination of positions in international forums, pointing out to common ties and characteristics that ties Syria and Algeria, as well as the honorable international stances of both brotherly countries.<\/p>\n

During the meeting, Sabbagh touched upon on the crimes and violations that the Zionist enemy continues to commit against the Palestinian people in the besieged Gaza Strip in full view of the entire world, pointing out that these crimes represent an extension of massacres that the Zionist entity has been committing for decades.<\/p>\n

For his part, Algerian ambassador stressed the importance of intensifying joint cooperation to develop Algerian-Syrian relations, especially parliamentary ones, calling for strengthening joint Arab action, standing up to unilateral coercive sanctions, and breaking the siege imposed on Syria.<\/p>\n

Ambassador Boushama praised steadfastness of Syrian people, their faith, and their determination in the necessity of returning life to normal, pointing out that Syria is a country of tolerance, love, history, and civilization, wishing for return of goodness, growth, and prosperity to all parts of Syria.<\/p>\n
