Nicosia, SANA- The Syrian Embassy in Cyprus organized a cultural event at the Cultural Center in Nicosia entitled \u201cDespite Terrorism… Syria Will Remain the Cradle of Civilizations,\u201d included a reception ceremony and a photo exhibition about Syria.<\/p>\n

During the event, the Syrian film \u201cKriakos Oath\u201d was screened, which won more than 20 awards at international festivals,and it is being screened for the first time outside Syria, and talks about the deliberate sabotage of Aleppo city by terrorists, in addition to the film \u201cThe Blood of Palm\u201d, adapted from a true story about the archaeological and historical city of Palmyra, and the extent of the damage that resulted from the terrorists\u2019 destruction of its antiquities and the sacrifices of the Syrian Arab Army to liberate it and expel terrorism from it.<\/p>\n

Ambassadors and heads of missions of Arab and foreign countries, members of the diplomatic corps, representatives of the Orthodox and Armenian churches in Cyprus, representatives of a number of Cypriot parties, labor unions and non-governmental organizations, and a large crowd of members of the Syrian community in Cyprus, attended this event.<\/p>\n
