Palmyra, SANA-A Lebanese tourist group consisting of 100 tourists visited the ancient city of Palmyra today.<\/p>\n

\nThey viewed the most prominent historical edifices spread there, and documented the devastation left behind by the terrorist organization \u201cISIS\u201d before its defeat from the region.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Head of the group, Ziad Khairallah, said in a statement that the members of the group fulfilled their dream of visiting the marvelous city of Palmyra, and documented what the terrorist organization \u201cISIS\u201d did by vandalizing the city\u2019s most important archaeological monuments, which is a catastrophic crime against all of humanity.<\/p>\n

\nHe added that the nations and peoples change while cultural, human and artistic values continue from generation to generation, we hope that these archaeological edifices will be reconstructed by organizations specialized in international antiquities so that Palmyra continues in victory and steadfastness in the face of the enemies of human culture.<\/p>\n
