prayer at al-Rawda mosque in Damascus.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Minister of Endowments, Mohammad Abdil-Sattar al-Sayyed, a number of senior officials, Islamic scholars and citizens performed the prayer, led by Sheikh Mohammad Sahrif al-Sawwaf.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cEid al-Adha is a symbol for all kinds of sacrifice, patience and belief,\u201d Imam al-Sawwaf said in the Eid sermon, adding that prophets Ebrahem and Mohammad were the supreme example in the face of afflictions.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Sheikh Sawwaf prayed God to keep Syria, its people, army and the President, hoping victory and prosperity would prevail all over the country.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">President al-Assad exchanged congratulations
