Damascus, SANA – More aid supplies were delivered\u00a0Thursday in the terrorists-besieged Yarmouk Camp\u00a0neighborhood in southern Damascus.<\/p>\n
251 food packages, containing bread, sugar, and\u00a0food supplements, were distributed to the\u00a0residents, while 31 patients were evacuated from\u00a0the neighborhood and taken to hospitals in\u00a0Damascus city.<\/p>\n
The distribution was carried out by the General\u00a0Authority for Palestine Arab Refugees (GAPAR) and
\nthe United Nations Relief and Works Agency for\u00a0Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) with the full support
\nand help of the Syrian government.<\/p>\n
Director-General of GAPAR Ali Mustafa told SANA\u00a0that the food packages were distributed at sites
\nin Palestine Street near Yarmouk Municipality and\u00a0in Nisreen Street in al-Tadamon neighborhood.<\/p>\n
He noted that 5054 food packages have been\u00a0distributed since aid distribution was resumed on
\nMarch 5th, 2015.<\/p>\n
A total of 61084 food packages and 11618 health\u00a0packages have been distributed in the neighborhood
\nsince January 30th, 2014.<\/p>\n
The number of people evacuated for treatment since\u00a0January 2014 has amounted to 4804.<\/p>\n
