{"id":34068,"date":"2015-03-31T04:45:39","date_gmt":"2015-03-31T01:45:39","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.sana.sy\/en\/?p=34068"},"modified":"2015-03-31T05:44:41","modified_gmt":"2015-03-31T02:44:41","slug":"syria-iraq-discuss-means-to-confront-terrorism","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/archive.sana.sy\/en\/?p=34068","title":{"rendered":"Syria, Iraq discuss means to confront terrorism"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Baghdad, SANA- First Deputy of Iraqi President Nouri al-Maliki affirmed on Monday that the region witnesses big challenges and all should unify efforts to face them.<\/p>\n<p>Al-Maliki, meeting Syria&#8217;s Ambassador in Baghdad Sadam Jadaan al-Dandah, said the aim of destabilizing situation in Iraq, Syria and other countries is having them &#8220;weak and incapable of facing difficulties.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>He added the Iraqi security forces and popular groups have achieved great victories in their war against gangs of the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS) terrorist organization.<\/p>\n<p>For his part, Ambassador Dandah affirmed Syria&#8217;s commitment to boost bilateral relations and unify regional and international efforts to face ISIS danger.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Expanding cooperation and coordination between Syria and Iraq became a necessity to face gangs of death and terrorism which seek to obstruct progress and kill life in Syria and Iraq,&#8221; al-Dandah told SANA correspondent in Baghdad.<\/p>\n<p>He was confident the Syrian army and Iraqi forces will defeat terrorism and restore security and stability to all cities in both countries.<\/p>\n<p>Mazen Eyon<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Baghdad, SANA- First Deputy of Iraqi President Nouri al-Maliki affirmed on Monday that the region witnesses big challenges and all should unify efforts to face them.
