This was illustrated by the First Lady&#8217;s visit to two orphan care centers in Damascus.<\/p>\n<p>Mrs. Asmaa al-Assad on Thursday visited Dar al-Aman and St. Gregory Orthodox Society for the Elderly and Orphans, two orphan care centers in Damascus, touring the newly-established classes in Dar al-Aman.<\/p>\n<p>Mrs. Al-Assad was briefed on the conditions of the orphans and the efforts to help them become proactive citizens.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.sana.sy\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/\u0627\u0644\u0633\u064a\u062f\u0629-2.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-34569\" src=\"http:\/\/www.sana.sy\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/\u0627\u0644\u0633\u064a\u062f\u0629-2.jpg\" alt=\"\u0627\u0644\u0633\u064a\u062f\u0629 2\" width=\"277\" height=\"203\" srcset=\"https:\/\/archive.sana.sy\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/\u0627\u0644\u0633\u064a\u062f\u0629-2.jpg 277w, https:\/\/archive.sana.sy\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/\u0627\u0644\u0633\u064a\u062f\u0629-2-150x110.jpg 150w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 277px) 100vw, 277px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Caring for the orphans is an ethical and humanitarian obligation in the normal course of things.
