Ankara, SANA- Turkish Defense Ministry renewed Turkey\u2019s support for the Syrian people and its adoption of preventive measures against terrorist organizations that threaten Syria’s administrative and geographical unity.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe will maintain close cooperation with the new administration in Syria to enhance Syria\u2019s defense and security capabilities, and to ensure the voluntary, safe and dignified return of Syrians,\u201d Anadolu Agency reported the ministry\u2019s public relations and media advisor, Zeki Akt\u00fcrk, as saying during a press conference on Thursday.<\/p>\n
Akt\u00fcrk stressed that his country would continue to take preventive and destructive measures against all terrorist organizations, that threaten the administrative and geographical unity of Syria and peace and security in the region, stressing that no terrorist entity will be allowed to exist or impose a fait accompli in the region.<\/p>\n
He stated that a delegation from the Ministry of Defense visited Syria to hold technical talks, indicating that Turkey will continue to stand by the Syrian people in the upcoming period as it has done until today.<\/p>\n
