{"id":34591,"date":"2015-04-02T22:13:08","date_gmt":"2015-04-02T19:13:08","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.sana.sy\/en\/?p=34591"},"modified":"2015-04-04T08:59:18","modified_gmt":"2015-04-04T05:59:18","slug":"syria-belarus-sign-protocol-on-increasing-cooperation-in-trade-and-economy","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/archive.sana.sy\/en\/?p=34591","title":{"rendered":"Syria, Belarus sign protocol on increasing cooperation in trade and economy"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Minsk, SANA-Syria and Belarus signed on Thursday a protocol on increasing cooperation between the two countries in the fields of trade and economy.<\/p>\n<p>The step was taken at the conclusion of the meetings of Joint Syrian-Belarusian Economic Cooperation Committee, chaired by Syrian Minister of Industry Kamal Tu\u2019meh, and Belarusian Minister of Economy Vladimir Zinovsky.<\/p>\n<p>The Belarusian Minister described the protocol as &#8220;a road map&#8221; to carry out and fulfill future projects to develop economic relations between Syria and Belarus.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The two countries have the desire to enhance joint cooperation in trade field, vehicles, medical cosmetics and food,&#8221; Zinovsky said, \u00a0highly evaluating the work of the joint committee.<\/p>\n<p>For his part, Minister Tu\u2019meh hailed the flexibility showed by the Belarusian side to have the discussions succeed, adding &#8220;Belarus seeks to find a positive, good environment to help create investments and hold joint projects through which both countries would overcome the economic sanctions imposed on them.<\/p>\n<p>He appreciated stances of Belarus which support the international law and reject intervention in the domestic affairs of sovereign states.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier, Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus Mikhail Rusyi described as &#8220;strong and consolidated&#8221; the relations connecting Syria and Russia, rejecting any foreign intervention in Syria&#8217;s internal affairs.<\/p>\n<p>Meeting the Syrian official delegation headed by Minister Tu&#8217;meh, Rusyi affirmed that unity of the Syrian people and their support to the Syrian leadership have foiled the hostile conspiracy on Syria.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.sana.sy\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/Belarusian-Deputy-Prime-Minister.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-34616\" src=\"http:\/\/www.sana.sy\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/Belarusian-Deputy-Prime-Minister-300x149.jpg\" alt=\"Belarusian Deputy Prime Minister\" width=\"300\" height=\"149\" srcset=\"https:\/\/archive.sana.sy\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/Belarusian-Deputy-Prime-Minister-300x149.jpg 300w, https:\/\/archive.sana.sy\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/Belarusian-Deputy-Prime-Minister-150x75.jpg 150w, https:\/\/archive.sana.sy\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/Belarusian-Deputy-Prime-Minister.jpg 620w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Syria is a friend country of Belarus, and even it is one of the most important partners in the Middle East&#8230; We are ready to do our best to boost bilateral cooperation in the interest of both peoples,&#8221; Rusyi added.<\/p>\n<p>Minister Tu&#8217;meh, for his part, pointed to the importance of promoting economic relations between the two countries up to the level of political ones which were consolidated by Presidents Bashar al-Assad and Alexander Lukashenko.<\/p>\n<p>He added that the credit line which Syria wants to establish with Belarus is not a loan, but it will be allocated to finance Belarusian exports to Syria, showing Syria&#8217;s readiness to export raw Phosphates to Belarus.<\/p>\n<p>Mazen Eyon<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Minsk, SANA-Syria and Belarus signed on Thursday a protocol on increasing cooperation between the two countries in the fields of trade and economy.
