{"id":353339,"date":"2025-04-24T11:49:07","date_gmt":"2025-04-24T08:49:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sana.sy\/en\/?p=353339"},"modified":"2025-04-24T11:49:07","modified_gmt":"2025-04-24T08:49:07","slug":"syria-unrwa-discuss-ways-of-boosting-cooperation-in-education-field","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/archive.sana.sy\/en\/?p=353339","title":{"rendered":"Syria, UNRWA discuss ways of boosting cooperation in education field"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Damascus, SANA- Syria and UNRWA discussed Thursday the education situation in Syria and means of enhancing cooperation between ministry and organization.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">That came during a meeting that brought together Education Minister Dr. Mohammed Turko and Director of UN Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) in Syria, Amanya Michael Ebye, and the accompanying delegation.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">During the meeting held at the Ministry building in Damascus, the two sides touched on the organization&#8217;s future projects at the education sector, in addition to the mechanism of restoring damaged schools.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Dr. Turko stressed that economic sanctions imposed on Syria hinder efforts of reconstruction process in various fields, including education<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In turn, the delegation expressed readiness to provide support to the Ministry in terms training and qualification of teaching cadres.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The delegation also noted to the organization&#8217;s work mechanism at education sector, challenges facing it, and the mechanism of developing its work, in a way that would improve the services provided.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Rafah al-Allouni\/ Manar Salameh<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Damascus, SANA- Syria and UNRWA discussed Thursday the education situation in Syria and means of enhancing cooperation between ministry and organization.
