Lattakia, SANA- Faculty of Pharmacy at Tishreen\u00a0University in Lattakia held a quality control\u00a0workshop on Designing and Monitoring Medicine.<\/p>\n
The workshop, which was held on Wednesday in\u00a0cooperation with the Lattakia branch of\u00a0Pharmaceutical Syndicate and the Faculties of
\nPharmacy at the Private Universities of Al-Andalus\u00a0and al-Hwash, shed light on the latest\u00a0developments in designing, manufacturing
\nmedicines, the new methods in analyzing and\u00a0monitoring Syrian-made medicines.<\/p>\n
The workshop included a number of scientific\u00a0researches in the field of manufacturing\u00a0medicines.<\/p>\n
The workshop aims at benefiting from the expertise\u00a0of the participants in the scientific and\u00a0knowledge fields and enhancing cooperation between\u00a0the pharmacists and the scientific research
\ncenters at the faculties of pharmacy and\u00a0universities, Head of Pharmaceutical Syndicate,\u00a0Lattakia branch Dr. Feras Basma said.<\/p>\n
The importance of the workshop came from that it\u00a0concentrated on the quality of the Syrian medicine\u00a0and the role of the Faculty of Pharmacy through\u00a0the Master’s researches it conducted in addition
\nto reviewing what is new in designing and\u00a0manufacturing medicine and supervising it through\u00a0the use of the most sophisticated analysis
\nmethods, Head of the Organizing Committee Dr.\u00a0Nohammad Haron said.<\/p>\n
Deputy Dean of Faculty of Pharmacy for scientific\u00a0affairs, Dr. Rimal Asa’ad pointed out that the\u00a0workshop highlighted problems facing health sector\u00a0in Syria due to the crisis plaguing the country\u00a0and acts of sabotage perpetrated by terrorists\u00a0against a number of medicine factories, smuggling\u00a0non-monitored medicine in addition to the
\ndeterioration of the medicine industry in Syria.<\/p>\n
Dr. Asa’ad added that the workshop highlighted the\u00a0role of pharmacy Faculties in upgrading the\u00a0medicine industry and supervising medical\u00a0productions.<\/p>\n
