Provinces, SANA- Units of the army and the armed forces on Sunday continued to launch wide-scale military operations against the terrorist organizations across the country, destroying their dens and gatherings and killing scores of their members.<\/p>\n
Daraa<\/span><\/p>\n Units of the army directly targeted positions of terrorists from Jabhat al-Nusra and the so-called “Al-Muthanna Movement” in al-Manshiyeh and al-Arbaeen neighborhoods in Daraa al- Balad in the city of Daraa, southern Syria.<\/p>\n A number of terrorists were killed others were wounded in the operations, a military source told SANA.<\/p>\n The source added that the army smashed dens of terrorists near the Engineers building, Agriculture Research Center in al-Samakiat, Dael towns and al-Karak neighborhood in Daraa and its countryside.<\/p>\n During the operations, the army killed a number of terrorists and inured many others in addition to destroying an armored vehicle.<\/p>\n More terrorists from Jabhat al-Nusra organization were killed as their gatherings were targeted in Kafar Shams village, 60 km north of Daraa city. A number of vehicles, some of them equipped with heavy machine guns, were destroyed.<\/p>\n Lattakia<\/span><\/p>\n The army thwarted terrorists\u2019 attempt to infiltrate into Nab\u2019 al-Mur area, destroying their hideouts, vehicles equipped with heavy machineguns and mortars in Atira, al-Souda, Ghammam, Zahi Mount and al-Sukkaryeh in Lattakia northern countryside.<\/p>\n Quneitra<\/span><\/p>\n In the neighboring Quneitra province, an army unit destroyed hideouts and gatherings of terrorists from Jabhat al-Nusra near Um al-Izam dam in the occupied Syrian Golan, where terrorists infiltrate, backed by the Israeli forces.<\/p>\n The operations resulted in killing a number of terrorists, injuring others and destroying their arms and ammunition.<\/p>\n Homs<\/span><\/p>\n The army killed or injured a number\u00a0of terrorists from the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS) in a concentrated operation\u00a0Rahoum village, the most prominent stronghold of ISIS in the eastern countryside of\u00a0Homs, according to a military source.<\/p>\n The source told SANA that units of the army killed\u00a0scores of terrorists and destroyed their arms and ammunition in the villages of Rajm\u00a0al-Aali and Um Sahrij in the eastern countryside.<\/p>\n Meanwhile, an army unit killed a number of\u00a0terrorists and injured others in al-Rastan al-Tahtani area, according to the source.<\/p>\n Units of the army repelled an attack by ISIS terrorists against a military check-point in al-Hafna area to the east of Palmyra city in Homs central province.<\/p>\n The operation resulted in the killing of 15 terrorists, injuring many others and seizing amounts of weapons and ammos.<\/p>\n Meanwhile, an army engineering unit dismantled a number of explosive devices weighing 20-40 kg which terrorists planted on Palmyra- al-Sukhna Road in Homs countryside.<\/p>\n Aleppo<\/span><\/p>\n Units of the army and the armed\u00a0forces carried out on Sunday accurate operations against gatherings of terrorists in a\u00a0number of neighborhoods in Aleppo city and destroyed one of the terrorists’ supply routes\u00a0in the countryside.<\/p>\n A military source told SANA that the operations in\u00a0the city were concentrated in Old Aleppo and other neighborhoods, killing a number\u00a0of terrorists and injuring others, in addition to destroying their arms and ammunition.<\/p>\n In the framework of operations to cut off the\u00a0terrorists’ supply routes, units of the army targeted dens in the areas surrounding al- Many terrorists who were inside the dens were\u00a0killed or wounded, while their arms and ammunition were destroyed.<\/p>\n Meanwhile, in the southwestern countryside of the\u00a0province, an army unit carried out a special operation against gatherings of terrorists\u00a0who are mostly from Jabhat al-Nusra terrorist organization, killing or injuring scores\u00a0of them in Khan Touman village.<\/p>\n The military source also said that an army unit\u00a0destroyed terrorists’ dens with ammunition and arms inside around the thermal\u00a0plant to the east of Aleppo City on Aleppo-Raqqa road.
