Damascus, SANA-Minister of Health, Dr. Musab al-Ali, discussed with a delegation from Qatar Charity, headed by Mr. Mohammed Hardan, ways to enhance collaboration and support the health sector in Syria.<\/p>\n

During the meeting, held at the Ministry\u2019s headquarters, Dr. al-Ali outlined the significant challenges facing the healthcare system\u2014including the reconstruction of medical facilities, provision of medical equipment, rehabilitation of the emergency response system, and securing cancer medications.<\/p>\n

He expressed the Ministry\u2019s readiness to cooperate with the organization in ways that serve patients’ interests, improve the quality of healthcare services, and help rebuild Syria\u2019s healthcare system. He also commended the organization’s efforts in supporting the sector.<\/p>\n

The delegation highlighted Qatar Charity\u2019s ongoing work in establishing a pediatric unit at Afrin Hospital, creating a cancer center for administering treatment, and providing support with medicines and medical equipment in accordance with a plan determined by the Ministry of Health.<\/p>\n

Founded in 1992, Qatar Charity operates in the fields of sustainable development, poverty alleviation, and emergency humanitarian relief.<\/p>\n
