Damascus, SANA – A large number of Syrian\u00a0exporters are having their products displaced at\u00a0the 7th Baghdad International Flower Festival,\u00a0whose activities kicked off on Thursday in Zawra\u00a0Park in the Iraqi capital of\u00a0Baghdad.<\/p>\n
In its participation in the previous\u00a0edition of the\u00a0Festival, that was held last April, the month\u00a0when the festival is held annually, the\u00a0Syrian pavilion was ranked first among pavilions\u00a0of 11 countries and 70 foreign\u00a0companies.<\/p>\n
Member of the Syrian Exporters Union, head of the\u00a0Agricultural Committee, Iyad Mohammad said
\nSyria’s participation this year is marked by\u00a0being diverse and wide as an array of activities\u00a0will be held on the festival’s\u00a0sidelines.<\/p>\n
The Syrian delegation will hold flower arrangement\u00a0training workshops and floral design lectures, in
\naddition to an event to talk about\u00a0the special Damascene rose.<\/p>\n
The festival, which will last for a week, includes\u00a0the participation of Egypt, Sudan, the US,Turkey, Italy and Germany, in addition to\u00a0scores of specialized agricultural and flower\u00a0companies.<\/p>\n
